There are many advantages to accessing a pop mail account with a mail program rather than accessing it through
your browser, but if you want to access it through your browser, you can do so from this page.
|
For web-based access to your email, click this button. In the popup window, enter your full email address,
eg: mike@kimrichards.net, and your password.
|
|
The web-based access is provided by a program called "neomail". The first time you use this program you will need to set some preferences.
|
To read your POP mail through a mail program, you can use Netscape's "Messenger" feature, or IE's "Outlook Express",
or download one of the programs at:
http://download.cnet.com/downloads/0,10151,0-3356720-106-0-1-10,00.html?tag=st.dl.3356720-106-1.lst-10.lst&.
To get your mail with a POP program, you will need this information:
- Server Name: kimrichards.net
- Server Type: POP3
- User Name: Your Kim Richards email address, substituting the @ symbol with the + symbol. Example, mine is "mike+kimrichards.net".
- Password: You should have written it down. :)
- Outgoing Mail Server: Provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP)
